I have always had a passion for creativity. God asks us to use our talents, and so I shall sew!! I really enjoy quilting. While living on the road, it has been my soul therapy. I reached a point where I had scraps of various papers with scribbles and sketches that I'm sure made sense at the time, but now have no meaning. And so if I ever try to recreate a quilt or idea, I stare at my scraps in total confusion. This is why I decided it was time for a Quilt Designing Planner/Journal.
All of my ideas and creation in one place. I can be more organized in my designing, shopping, AND cutting! I always over buy fabric because I'm usually guessing how much I need and add half a yard. Ridiculous! This planner will hopefully eliminate this problem. It will also help me to plan what i can accomplish with all my scraps and left overs. Or if they are have a sale on fat-quarters, which I'm always a sucker for...
Download my Quilting Design Planner and enjoy! For mine I used front and back printing and then hole punched and placed in a binder (which also has other sections for sewing and crochet patterns). That way you have the sketch on the left and the plans on the right! You could also have it bound into a really nice book.

Adventure Life has been a huge blessing in our life. This time last year we were working with therapists and worrying about the fact that he wasn't talking. He attended this school for only 5 months, and was able to catch up to the same level as his peers. I cannot even express how grateful I am for the wonderful program and teachers he had.
Next month he turns 4 years old. It seems like yesterday we were bringing him home for the first time. Now he's graduating from preschool, riding a bike without training wheels, and telling my he's tough whenever he gets hurt. He will forever be my little guy who is full of big energy and attitude.
The good news is, I didn't cry during his little graduation ceremony. Even though I really wanted to!! Thanks again Mrs. Bergman and Mrs. Humble!

Look how stinking cute this kid is!! He had his first Tee Ball game this week. I had forgotten how entertaining it can be to watch those little guys. He loved it and was so excited to play!
We enjoyed watching dog piled fights over the ball, kids hitting the ball and then running to the dugout, and a lot of digging in the dirt!
Ryder played catcher (so cute!) the first inning and then pitcher the second. He hit the ball on the first swing both times he was up to bat! He sure is growing up fast...
The weather has been all over the place! Sunny warm and beautiful one day, then windy rainy, yuckiness the next. Our RV neighbors have a little guy that is the same age as Ryder. They are 2 peas in a pod! It's cute to watch him making friends. We spent an entire day at Pella's Tulip Time festival with them and had a blast!
Here are just a FEW of my favorite pictures from our day of beautiful tulips, wooden windmills, dutch themes and attire, parades, yummy food, and lots of shopping!

Lately I have had a huge need for quiet time ideas for my Preschooler. He is 3 1/2 and SO very full of energy. Normally I don't mind this, but with a 5 month old, we tend to need some quiet time. Especially during naps and feedings. Here are some fantastic activities that we do at our house and I hope they inspire your Preschoolers imagination and creativity!!

People tell me all the time that my life must be an adventure. I explain our living situation and receive astonished reactions. If i was on the outside looking in, i would probably have the same reaction! But this is our 3rd year living full-time in our RV and so for us, it's just normal... Want an example of this so called crazy?
We drove to Georgia and back to spend Thanksgiving with friends. Then we drove to Arizona and back to spend Christmas with our families. Hubby transferred companies and had to spend 3 weeks living in hotels and would drive 3 hours to be home with us on weekends. And for the finale, we spent New Year's moving!
Stone Mountain Georgia
Thanksgiving was wonderful! We spent a week with our best of friends. Talking, laughing, staying up too late, watching our kids play, and eating amazing food! I'm still craving Brunswick Stew and Hushpuppies from that gas station BBQ restaurant!!! We have always considered the Jensen's our family away from home. Their friendship has gotten us through some of the worst and best times over the last 5+ years. We love you dearly...
We have spent all, but one, of our Christmas' together in Arizona. This one was by far my favorite one! There were so many wonderful and fun things that happened. There is nothing greater than the love of family.
Monkey was trying to see Grandpa's house!
I love this little family of mine. And we've discovered that we thrive in this tiny house of ours! Apparently our children love being crammed, piled up, and close together. I'm not going to lie, i love it too....

I was born and raised in the wonderful state of Arizona. Therefore, it is a no brainer that I love Mexican food! It's funny though, because through all our adventures I haven't found anywhere that does Mexican food as well as my home state does. One of our all time favorite dinners is my mom's recipe for Taco Soup. Yummy! Not only is it tasty, but it is also easy to make.

Two months ago we signed a six month lease on a cabin for the winter. On Thursday Hubby called from work and said, "We're moving!" Looks like we are saying goodbye to the cabin and getting cozy in the camper again!! Haha I have a crazy life...
Monkey has been attending a wonderful preschool during the short time we have been here and so I wanted to make sure and make his teachers a great Christmas/Goodbye present. Monkey's favorite thing these days is Hot Cocoa! So here is my easy adult version of Hot Cocoa as a gift...

This recipe is easy as pie! Hehe... My husband and I were watching Holiday Bake Off on the cooking channel the other night. Actually he was just sitting next to me on his iPad while I was watching, but anyway... The challenge was Holiday Pie. Their creations had us drooling and craving some pie!! It has been years since I've made a pie and so I thought I would share with you my Traditional Apple Pie recipe that turned out oh so yummy. Seriously, it has taken all my self control not to eat it for breakfast...

We have reached the end of our Non-Mom Hairstyles for Moms series. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did! I was a fun project to work on while waiting for Baby Girl to make her appearance.
Double Braided Top Bun
I know for a fact that we all get sick of pony tails, top knots, and messy buns. So this is my super simple way of making them fancier! Especially if you have a crazy morning or your children's goal in life is to not let you wash your hair.

Christmas Pretzel Buttons are one of my favorite holiday treats! Not only are they very easy to make, but can be used for several different occasions. Display these tasty buttons on a festive Christmas platter at your next Holiday party. Wrap them in cute goodie bags and give them to family, friends, neighbors, teachers, co-workers, etc. Serve them with a big bowl of popcorn while you and your family enjoy a Christmas movie together!

As we all know, Blogging can be a bit overwhelming. Especially if you are still new to it. I knew I needed to organize myself. I started searching for the perfect Blogging Planner. I had an idea of what I wanted it to include, and even though there are several free planners out there, none of them were exactly what I wanted. Here is how I easily designed my own Blogging Planner, and you can do it too!

I hope you are all enjoying my Non-Mom Hairstyles for Busy Moms series! They have been so fun to do.
High Braided Pony
I started wearing this hairstyle while I was on vacation this summer in Arizona. It was SO hot, but I was bored with plain ponies and buns. It is so easy to add a french braid and transform this classic oldie!
